Puk Qvortrup (Danmark)

Puk Qvortrup (f. 1986) er en dansk journalist og forfatter, med en cand.public. fra Aarhus Universitet og Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole. Hun har været skribent for bl.a. Weekendavisen, Information og Kristeligt Dagblad.

Qvortrup debuterede skønlitterært i maj 2019 med bogen ‘Ind i en stjerne’, som udkom på forlaget Grif. Bogen er et selvbiografisk værk, der handler om at miste den man elsker og den medfølgende sorg, som rammer både en selv og ens omgivelser. Hvad gør man når man står alene tilbage, gravid og med en to-årig dreng der ikke kan forstå at hans far ikke kommer hjem igen? Det er en fortælling om lammende sorg, men også om hvordan det ubærlige med tiden kommer til at fylde mindre, og hvor livet og glæden stille begynder at melde sig igen.

Puk Qvortrup (Denmark)

Puk Qvortrup (born 1986) is a Danish journalist and author with a Master of Arts in Journalism from Aarhus University and the Danish School of Media and Journalism. She is especially interested in media consumption among children and children as recipients of information. She has been a writer for several Danish papers.

Qvortrup debuted in May 2019 with the book ‘Ind i en stjerne’ (Into a star) at the publisher Grif. The book is an autobiographical story about losing the one you love and the accompanying sorrow, that cripples both yourself and your surroundings: What do you do when you are left alone, pregnant, and with a two-year-old who cannot understand that his father is not coming home. It is a story about crippling sorrow, but also about how the unbearable with time fills a bit less, and how life and joy slowly comes back.
